Finding running goodness in a sea of fatigue and tiredness...

I have posted several lines about the many benefits I continue to see as a result of increased training, higher mileage, and improved mental toughness. Sounds all good, no?

Not exactly...

The one byproduct of high intensity training t failed to  elaborate upon is old-fashioned "I'm exhausted" syndrome.

I felt the sheer force of it this morning. I had gotten up at normal time (4:30 am), ate breakfast, and gotten dressed, but I had to man-up to get out the door. Once I was out there though, I had a great run!
